Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GUARD (“GUARD”, “we”) processes personal data collected through the guardti.com.br website, in accordance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD).
1. Data controller
Guard Soluções em Tecnologia da Informação Ltda, CNPJ 24.726.596/0001-70, headquartered at Rod. José Carlos Daux (SC-401), 4150, João Paulo, Florianópolis/SC, 88031-005, Brazil.
Data Protection Officer (DPO): Filipe Barbosa da Silva — filipe@guardti.com.br.
Which law applies. GUARD is established in Brazil, so all personal data we process — regardless of the visitor’s country — is governed by Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), which provides rights similar to the EU’s GDPR. Visitors from any country can exercise the rights described in section 6 by contacting us.
2. What data we collect
Data you send us through the contact form: name, email, phone (optional), company (optional), website to be assessed (optional), subject and message.
Technical security data: like any protected website, our infrastructure (Cloudflare) automatically processes your IP address, browser and other technical connection details to deliver the site and block attacks. The form’s anti-bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) analyses technical browser signals to tell humans from bots, without tracking cookies.
We do not use cookies for advertising, tracking or analytics that identify you.
Language preference cookie: the site automatically shows the Portuguese or English version based on the country you visit from and your browser language. If you choose a language manually, we store that choice in the guard_lang cookie (value pt or en, valid for 1 year). It is strictly functional, does not identify you and is not shared with third parties.
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (LGPD) |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry, sending proposals and carrying out the requested assessment | Consent (art. 7, I) and pre-contractual steps at your request (art. 7, V) |
| Protecting the website against fraud, abuse and attacks | Legitimate interest (art. 7, IX) |
We do not sell your data or use it for purposes other than those described here.
4. Who we share data with
We only share data with processors that help us provide the service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, attack protection and anti-bot verification;
- Resend — delivery of the email generated by the contact form;
- Google (Google Workspace) — the mailbox where we receive and answer messages.
These providers may process data outside Brazil. In such cases, the international transfer is based on art. 33 of the LGPD, with appropriate contractual safeguards.
5. How long we keep data
Messages sent through the form are not stored on the website: they are delivered directly to our mailbox. We keep them for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and delete them within 24 (twenty-four) months after the last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them.
6. Your rights
At any time and free of charge, you may request: confirmation that we process your data; access; correction of incomplete or outdated data; anonymisation, blocking or deletion; portability; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent (art. 18 LGPD).
To exercise your rights, email filipe@guardti.com.br. You may also lodge a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
7. Security
We are a security company and apply to our own website the practices we recommend to clients: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), a restrictive content security policy, attack protection and restricted access to data.
Found a vulnerability? See our disclosure policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
